Michigan, USA – Mr. Wuthichai Phiwthong, CEO of Supavut Industry Co., Ltd., proudly represented at the Ford Global Supplier Excellence Awards & Dinner Event , held on May 15–16, 2025, at the newly restored Michigan Central Station in Detroit. He was accompanied by Mr. Nithin Prabhu, General Manager – Program Management from Supavut.
This prestigious event honored over 50 of Ford Motor Company’s highest-performing global suppliers across various categories, including innovation, collaboration, quality, and cost performance. Supavut Industry Co., Ltd. was selected as one of only two suppliers from the International Markets Group (IMG) and was notably the only supplier from Thailand invited—an exceptional distinction reflecting the company’s long-standing excellence and partnership with Ford.
During the event, Mr. Wuthichai had the honor of engaging directly with Mr. Jim Farley, President and CEO of Ford Motor Company, and Ms. Liz Door, Chief Supply Chain Officer. These interactions reinforced Supavut’s important role in Ford’s global supply network and ongoing strategic initiatives.
Adding to the recognition, Supavut was nominated in two key categories: Collaboration and Cost Leadership. These nominations underscore the company's reputation for strong cross-functional teamwork, operational efficiency, and delivering value-driven solutions aligned with Ford’s global priorities.
On May 16, Mr. Wuthichai also participated in the Ford Driving Experience at the Dearborn campus, where he experienced a variety of Ford’s latest models—including electric and performance vehicles—gaining direct exposure to the brand’s cutting-edge technologies and product roadmap.
